- Approaches to Forgiveness in the Family (Session Title)
This session combines approaches developed by The Forgiveness Academy™ and The Forgiveness Project. Topics include the core competencies and skills of forgiveness: understanding your story; creating awareness of where you hold psychological pain/trauma within the body; cultivating empathy; learning to release judgment and resistance; forgiving using the eight-step Forgiveness Academy™ Process. Stories from The F Word: Stories of Forgiveness exhibition will be shared as real experiences of those who have forgiven the injury and trauma in their daily lives and within their families.
